Consider the majority of websites you visit. Some offer very little engagement, while others may ask for your email address in exchange for free shipping, a discount,
or even points. While the idea of value exchange is appealing and effective… a key consideration to think about is what an organization learns from an email address. It is helpful, but it’s only one input that doesn’t tell us much about the individual.

However, when an organization leverages zero-party data, there is the ability to learn a lot more about the buyer - immediately - their preferences, and what they need at that moment.

Learning what the customer intends helps reduce friction and shortens time to conversion – zero-party data is a direct path to that intention.
